Vol. 7. Issue 23
As you will know, the coronavirus outbreak appears to be subsiding somewhat in China, but has now spread to other parts of the world. NAISR and our wider Nord Anglia Education family are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. We are in communication with local authorities, education departments and international health bodies in order to obtain updated information. Although we were disappointed to have to cancel any upcoming field trips and the remaining swimming lessons, and that the NECIS tournaments in Dusseldorf, Antwerp and Rotterdam were also cancelled (along with the Pep Rally), the safety of our students is paramount. Given the international nature of the NECIS tournaments, it was best that NECIS chose to be proactive in this situation by cancelling their tournaments in order to ensure the health of all competing school members.

This week, we have released the third video from our latest video series about our school. This video is about our wonderful community! We feel lucky to have all the benefits of a small close-knit family school, but with connections to over 60,000 other children though Nord Anglia's Global Campus, our students have the best of both worlds. We are also pleased to inform you that you will have another video production crew visiting us here at NAISR towards the end of this month. This time, we will be making a series of longer videos about our wonderful school and all it has to offer. Go Sharks!

Next week, be sure to come and support our Seniors who are delivering their final CAS Showcases demonstrations on Monday (see more information below) and please be reminded that Wednesday (11 March) is an early dismissal day when all students will be dismissed from school at 12:00.

MUN Conference, Warsaw
NAISR's Model UN Club is very excited to announce that they will be attending the Model United Nations Conference at The British International School Warsaw at the end of this month (pending the coronavirus situation).  Model United Nations is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically roleplay delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. Simulating a real United Nations conference, this year's focus will be the Rights of the Child. Good luck to our 'delegates' and we will keep you updated on how they get on.

PTSA Corner
PTSA is looking for people to prepare food from their culture for the April Fool's Music Festival on April 1.  You may donate the food or you may sell it.  If you choose to sell, you would need to be at the event from 3-6pm.  We would love to have many cultures represented! Please email PTSA at to let us know if you will participate so that we can make sure that we have enough table space.
