Volunteer for Council Appointed Advisory Bodies Including Economic Advisory Committee

There are many opportunities to participate in your local government through Council appointments to serve on various committees created to address specific areas of civic concern.

The Richmond Economic Advisory Committee has the mandate to provide Council with feedback and advice on economic development strategic planning issues and initiatives. Read the Economic Advisory Committee Terms of Reference here

If you are interested in volunteering your time and expertise, in an unpaid capacity, please download the application form, which lists the Advisory Bodies looking for volunteers in 2021.

Spring Activator Launches 2020 Impact Investor Challenge

Are you a purpose drive entrepreneur or impact investor in British Columbia? If so, Spring Activator invites you to apply for their 2020 Impact Investor Challenge being held virtually this year!

The Challenge is a program designed to prepare entrepreneurs to raise startup capital and early stage investors to make their first impact investment. At the end of the Challenge, the investor cohort selects one finalist from the entrepreneur cohort to win $100,000 in investments!

Applications close August 31, 2020.
