Hello friends, we are looking for several Bulgarian volunteers!
1.) A few Bulgarian translators are needed to help translate our curriculum for prenatal and postnatal classes. These classes will be offered, free of charge, to underprivileged pregnant girls and women in Plovdiv, Bulgaria starting this September. At that time, One Heart Bulgaria will officially open our maternity clinic!!! Volunteers must be fluent in both Bulgarian and English. Medical background preferred, but not required. Please message us for more details. Translations for prenatal classes 1-7 must be completed by July 20th. Translations for postnatal classes 8-12 must be completed by Aug. 20th.
2.) A Bulgarian translator with a medical background is needed to assist in online curriculum trainings with our Bulgarian nurses. *These trainings will be via Zoom according to the following schedule:
July 31st: prenatal training for classes 1-3
Aug. 7th: prenatal training for classes 4-7
The time of the trainings will most likely be 6am PST; 7am MST; 16:00 BGN

3.) Two Bulgarian translators with a medical background (preferably in obstetrics/labor/delivery) are needed to help during separate shifts at the maternity clinic in Plovdiv the week of September 16-20; 23 and 24.
This is a really amazing opportunity to help in a significant way. These classes will help hundreds of girls and women each year to have healthy pregnancies. They will also help the girls and women learn how to take care of their babies and bond with them, which will help reduce the number of babies being abandoned to orphanages.
Also, we continue to encourage our supporters to do birthday fundraisers here on Facebook for this very special program that helps young girls and mothers keep their babies instead of abandoning them at orphanages. Proceeds from birthday fundraisers in July, August, and September will be allocated to this special program. It REALLY adds up and is a huge help! A Bulgarian woman raised $1,500 last month in Bulgaria through her birthday fundraiser! Thank you everyone for your continued support! ❤️🇧🇬❤️
