Public Agency Program Milestones

The SoCalREN Public Agency Program has a lot to celebrate lately! Our 112 enrolled agencies have now surpassed 50 million kWh annual savings since the program began.

We are also excited to share that we have concluded our annual agency satisfaction survey and achieved a 93%  satisfaction rating. Thank you to all of the agencies that responded to the survey -- your feedback is invaluable and will help us continue to better serve you.

An overview of the Program’s achievements are outlined below. Congratulations to all of our enrolled agencies on their energy-saving achievements!

Schools Webinar Recap

Based on positive feedback on an April workshop in Ventura and your requests for additional information, we have expanded our workshop content into a webinar! The SoCalREN webinar, entitled “Tried, True and New Strategies to Fund and Implement Energy Retrofit Projects for Schools” was delivered on Tuesday, August 8th from 10:30 am-11:30 am and a recording is available here.
Our keynote speaker, Steve Clarke of Newsom Anderson McCormick, gave an update on the Prop 39 program ramp-down, and provided a comprehensive review of other financing, funding and technical support resources. We also invited two of our enrolled school districts, Oxnard Union High School District and Alhambra Unified School District, to speak on how they are keeping their project pipelines (and budgets) on track and to discuss project successes and barriers overcome through their work with the SoCalREN Public Agency Program. A recording of the webinar can be viewed here. Let us know what you think!
