Legislative Update

We are fortunate to once again have Maureen O'Connell representing us at the Capitol this year. Maureen is monitoring legislation and will keep us apprised of issues that impact nurse practitioners. There are many new members, so this year would be a great year to introduce yourself to your elected official. Don't know who represents you? You can find that information here.

An issue that we are tracking is the sunset of the provider tax. If this tax goes away, it will leave a significant debt in the health care budget and impact services provided. For more information go here.

The legislative session is just getting started so stay tuned!

We would like to introduce our lobbyist, Maureen . . .
