Volunteer Opportunity:

Calling all Snow Angels. If are looking to give back - dust off your shovel! Flamborough Connects coordinates the City of Hamilton Snow Angel program in Waterdown. Help a senior or disabled neighbour by clearing their pathways.

This is a great volunteer opportunity for youth looking for volunteer hours, families looking for opportunities to give back together, or adults looking to get some exercise and give back at the same time.

Mark you Calendar!
The Flamborough Connect's Online Gift Auction is back. Looking for birthday, anniversary or seasonal gifts? We have everything from cooking, camping and imbibing, to travelling, decorating and relaxing. Last year we had some amazing gift items - this year too! Follow us on social media, keep watch for previews and be ready to bid in mid-November.
Every year we bring joy to many seniors and disabled adults who are alone or without during the holidays. If you'd like to be a sponsor, please call the office and get on the list. Or, make a donation to the program by clicking the link below. All funds raised for this program support the purchase of recipient wish list items, or seniors programs in the community.
Spread joy
Youth Connectors

2019 Marked the 3rd Annual Flamborough Paint Challenge to support local youth. This year's funds will support the What's Your Path Program. A year long research project to support the program was generously funded by an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant. Thank you to Laura Piro - our 2017-2019 summer student. Laura helped local youth find summer employment, coordinated volunteers for the Paint Challenge, flipped burgers at the Turkstra BBQ and helped FC staff, volunteers and the board do so much to engage community.
Senior Connectors
Flamborough Connects received a grant to work with rural seniors and support social participation. The project aims to break down the unique barriers of rurally isolated seniors by providing free educational presentations and social events.  To date we have facilitated several FREE workshops on cannabis and tech security.
