Guided Historic Settlement Tours, January through March, Wednesday through Sunday @ 10am and 2pm; April –through December, Friday Saturday and Sunday @ 10am only. Explore the 19th century religious Koreshan settlement, its structures, and gardens. Join our guided walking tours and learn about these idealistic pioneers. The walking tour is about an hour and a half. Guided Tours are $5 for visitors 13 years and older with paid park admission and can be purchased at the Ranger Station or online by clicking here.

Farmers Market and Native Plant SaleSundays, Year-round, 8am - 1pm. Local fresh produce, seafood, honey, arts and crafts, native plants and trees, food and more! $1 per vehicle admission (for Impact Fee). Interested in being a vendor? Click here for vendor application forms.

Gustave Damkohler, born 1825 in Blankenburg, Germany, was the first homesteader in Estero in 1882. He farmed along the Estero River, then known as "Mosquito Creek," and used the river to ship his harvests and goods north through the Gulf of Mexico. Damkohler was a remarkable man. He (read more)
