AAPI Salutes and Thanks You for Your Generous Contributions!

It is very humbling and heartening to see the amazing response to AAPI’s plea to procure much needed oxygen concentrators for COVID-19 patients in our motherland. Our heartfelt thanks to the donors who came forward unconditionally to support this noble project. With your help, AAPI acquired 1000 oxygen concentrators which will be shipped to India on April 30th. AAPI has collaborated with SEWA International, a well reputed non-profit organization for the distribution of these units in India. We want to use the money collected for the right cause in a right way. We will be using the rest of the money for more oxygen concentrators, and oxygen delivery equipment such a BiPAP, CPAP machines and ventilators. We greatly appreciate your trust and confidence in AAPI and we promise to be transparent. We will update you with the information every week by newsletter and you can reach us out at anytime should you have any questions or concerns.

AAPI is trying to facilitate the interaction between US and Indian doctors to advise them about the evidence based protocols to treat COVID-19 patients. We evaluated 3 HIPPA compliant telehealth platforms to treat patients in India. AAPI is also working on relaxing the restrictions on US physicians to treat patients in India. I want to thanks Dr. Anupama, Dr. Ravi, Dr. Amit and Dr. Satish for their efforts.

We are in constant touch with Indian Embassy, Indian Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan to see how best we can help our motherland during this horrific pandemic. AAPI has written to a letter Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi to lock down the country to contain the spread of the virus, and to ramp up the vaccinations.
AAPI has written letters to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and talked to some of the key leaders, to lift the embargo on raw materials for making the vaccines. With your support, AAPI is trying to help our motherland in several ways. Thank you again for the kindness and generosity you have shown during these unprecedented time.
