Upcoming Programs

Meetinghouse by Candlelight

Friday, December 2nd, 5 pm to 8 pm

Kick off the holiday season at Arch Street Meeting House with live music from local Quaker schools, refreshments, a live historical impersonator, raffles, and more!

On Friday, December 2nd, from 5 pm to 8 pm, the historic West Room of Arch Street Meeting House will be illuminated by candlelight, and visitors will be able to Meet Quaker History in a whole new light. In the East Room, visitors will have the opportunity to explore our exhibits, enjoy beverages courtesy of Yards Brewing Company, and have a fantastic holiday evening.

Performances throughout the evening will be provided by Frankford Friends School, the George School, and Classic Christmas Carolers. We’ll even have a raffle for items like a Conshocken Brewing Co. gift card, tickets to Morris Arboretum, the Betsy Ross House, Franklin Square Mini Golf, and more.

Registration is not required.

Old City District Shopping Stroll &
Movie Night at ASMH: How the Grinch Stole Christmas


Wednesday, December 14th, 7 pm to 9:30 pm

Arch Street Meeting House will be hosting an indoor screening of the family-friendly holiday favorite, How the Grinch Stole Christmas following the Old City Shopping Stroll on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 from 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

Tickets to the movie night are a suggested donation of $5 per attendee and include admission to the museum. Bring snacks and a festive beverage, and have fun!

Old City District Shopping Stroll: Old City shops will stay open late on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 for special holiday shopping hours from 5:00-7:00pm. Receive a free Old City tote bag with any purchase - while supplies last - at participating locations!

Arch Street Meeting House will be joining local businesses across Old City, Philadelphia for the launch of the Old City Holiday Pass! Festivities kick off on Small Business Saturday, November 26, 2022, with the debut of the FREE Old City Holiday Pass.

Sign up by completing the form and enjoy special offers and deals at dozens of shops, restaurants, museums, and attractions all holiday season long, through December 30th. Plus, have the chance to win weekly Old City holiday prize packs.
