Dear Atheopagan cleric <<First Name>>,

Welcome to the November edition of The Atheopagan Voice! The year has turned and we are well into the dark time of year in the Northern Hemisphere, the light time in the Southern.

In mapping the year onto the arc of a human life, this is the post-death/composting/pregnancy time of year in the Northern Hemisphere. Death has come at Hallows, and new life will emerge with the birth of the Sun at Yule, the winter solstice. This is the "gap" that defines the space between lives that have disappeared and new ones that will arise, as the magical process of decomposition disassembles the old and readies the ingredients for reassembly into the new.

And so it is a good time to consider: having let go at Hallows of what is outdated and no longer serves you, what is stirring? What newness can you feel coming in your life? How can you foster that?

In the South, approaching the maturity of full adulthood at the summer solstice we can contemplate: what have I now mastered? What are my core strengths? And how can I take leisure now, as the agricultural cycle is now beyond planting and not yet ready for harvest?

As always, see below for resources and upcoming events. May your life be joyful, your rituals meaningful, and may your light in the work shine.

Earth is so beautiful this time of year
