Gratitude matters

Parents ~ I couldn't help but share this letter from Brad Griffin, who was here at PCJH last month leading our Growing Young campaign. I hope the article can nourish you in this busy season. PCJH is praying for you and your families ~ for a wonderful break from school next week.

From Brad: A season founded on giving thanks ought to be easy for people who follow Jesus. We have a rich story and layers of practices that feature gratitude. Nevertheless, sometimes as ministry leaders and parents we can get so caught up in the to-do lists of this season that we find it hard to feel grateful.

To help all of us enter into the spirit of the season, today I offer you four ways to tap into the power of gratitude.

Let’s cultivate healthy faith, relationships, and wellbeing even in the busiest of seasons.

Students are invited to a casual “hot cocoa” hour on Sunday mornings. Bring your students to PCJH a little early for an opportunity to build community with peers before 10:15am Worship.

No agenda, come as you are. 6th grade & up are welcome.
Sunday Reminder

Sunday School during the 10:15am service is led by dedicated volunteer leaders, who are pouring into our pre-K through 5th grade students.

6th grade & older students are encouraged to remain in the sanctuary & worship with our whole PCJH family.
Please Note

Youth Group will no longer meet every Sunday at 4pm.

We will continue to gather on Sundays for fun adventures throughout the season. Special opportunities will be posted here - in the parent newsletters!
