PV Elite and CodeCalc Version 24.0

What's New in PV Elite and CodeCalc, the following changes have been made to PV Elite and CodeCalc:
Updated the following codes:
  • EN 13445-3:2021. 
  • EN 13445-3, Section 16.12 Vertical vessels with skirts.
  • EN 13445-3, Bearing plate. 
  • EN13445-3, Section 21, Circular flat ends with radial reinforcement ribs. 
  • EN 1991-1-4, Vortex shedding. 
  • ASME Section VIII 2021. 
  • UHX-13.10.2(c). Added a warning if the cone angle is greater than 60 degrees.

  • Fixed an issue preventing Control Valve State Events (as triggers for other events) from firing in XTS.
  • Fixed an issue where initially closed FCVs with transient setpoint change would immediately open rather than staying closed until the event triggered.
Changes that affect interface:
  • Corrected Resistance Curvefit Form's Reference Density Units dropdown to remain on the user-selected units upon reopening of the Resistance Curvefit Form.
  • Fixed an issue that cause parallel pump composite efficiency curves to be plotted incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause error messages to appear repeatedly in the Fluid section of Analysis Setup.
  • Fixed an issue where clearing the Zero-Length connector checkbox would lose MST information for the pipe.
