Colette B. Waddill, DNP, MSN, RN, IBCLC, CNE, CHSE has been nominated to be our new treasurer for NCBC. Colette has a background in maternal infant health and is a nurse educator at UNCW. Colette’s research in her Master’s and Doctoral education focused on lactation. In addition to her primary job as nurse educator, Colette has been involved in multiple entrepreneurial endeavors, including providing bookkeeping services for several small companies. Colette also volunteers for service in many breastfeeding advocacy groups, such as Tri-County Breastfeeding Coalition and North Carolina Lactation Consultant Association. Colette is currently contracted as the Grant Coordinator for the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition’s project Transforming Clinics for Better Breastfeeding Outcomes. There is space to write in a new candidate for treasurer.
We are excited to announce that Lindsey Hurd Reeves is expecting her 2nd child and her family has recently relocated. She is excited to continue participating in NCBC activities but is unable to meet the needs of our chair.
For this reason, NCBC is seeking nominations for our next chair. Please use the provided space to make a nomination for our organization's next chair.
