Resource: National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children
Drug Endangered Children Roadmap and Toolkit to Local Alliance Building
National DEC, in partnership with the COPS Office, has designed a toolkit to consolidate information needed to form a drug endangered children (DEC) alliance and provide resources (including samples from existing alliances) to help formation proceed smoothly.

There are three stages of developing a roadmap and toolkit: (1) awareness, (2) implementation, and (3) institutionalization. A DEC alliance connects local practitioners from many disciplines to provide a mechanism for sustaining cross-disciplinary and interagency collaboration and facilitate ongoing changes in policies and practices. Medication Options for Treatment of Stimulant Use Disorders: Optimistic Update and New Research

Overdose deaths associated with illicit stimulants have surged in the past eight years, according to a recent study by the National Institutes for Health (NIH). While there are currently no FDA-approved medications for treatment of individuals who are dependent on stimulants, new treatments utilizing readily available medications are showing encouraging empirical support. Grants to Prevent Rx Drug/Opioid OD Deaths
Reduce the number of overdose-related deaths by training first responders and other key community sectors on the prevention of overdose-related deaths and implementing secondary prevention strategies, including the purchase and distribution of naloxone to first responders. Applications due by March 1, 2021. The role will primarily focus on supporting an ongoing foundational research project called TRANSFORM911 (T911). 

The Center for Health and Justice at TASC is hiring an Administrator- First Responder Consulting and Training, who will be responsible for the management of consulting, training and technical assistance projects at the intersection of justice and health policy.
