In July 2018, Illinois became the first state in the nation to pass and sign into law the first-ever comprehensive 5-pathway deflection legislation. This webinar will present the ins and outs of the sausage making that lead to this happening and present a path for communities across the United States to do the same in support of the newly emerging field of deflection and pre-arrest diversion.
