NOVEMBER 19-20, 2022

The last week of the Liturgical Year is devoted to eschatological themes: Christ the King will restore his kingdom to the Father. The risen people of God will rejoice in a new heaven and a new earth. "There, with the whole of creation, freed from the corruption of sin and death, may we glorify you through Christ our Lord." (EP IV)

9:00 AM
5:30 PM Filipino Mass

Only the 5:30 PM (Vigil Mass on Saturday) and the 11:00 AM (on Sunday) are LIVESTREAM via our Facebook Page and BROADCAST via FM Radio 102.5

On Sunday, November 20, the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, the Cathedral Youth Ministry will be inaugurated after the 11:00 AM Mass with Bishop Stephen Jensen.

November 20 happens to be the World Day of Youth.

Instituted in 1985 at the conclusion of the International Youth and in conjunction with Saint John Paul II's World Youth Day gatherings, this observance has taken place on Palm Sunday. In 2020 Pope Francis transferred the date to the Solemnity of our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.

"Young people must say to the world: It is good to follow Jesus! You bring us the joy of faith and tell us that we must live the faith always with a young heart." (Pope Francis)

The Cathedral Youth Ministry will be led by Mark and Anne-Marie Macapinlac, parishioners and volunteer couple.

Please be informed that on Tuesday, November 22, at 5:00 PM there will be a meeting to plan and organize Simbang Gabi 2022 (the traditional nine consecutive evening Masses before Christmas). If you are interested to be a part of the organizing committee, please come. It will be held in the hall, lower church.
