GARAGE SALE AT SACRED HEART
Fr. Rector is looking for some volunteers who can assist with the garage sale.

House items such as beds, mirrors, dressers, including some kitchen items are available for garage sale.  It came from the house that the parish bought and is now a rental house.

We need to empty the garage of the house as soon as possible so that it will be available for use by the rentors at the end of this month.

If you are interested in any of the items above, please contact the parish office to see those items.  Fr. Rector will gladly show you those items from Tuesday to Friday next week.

If you want to assist with the garage sale please let Fr. Rector know.
SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
We welcome with great joy into our Christian community Magnus Romulus Agnas who was baptized today, August 20.

Magnus Romulus is the second son of Glenn and Rocelyn Agnas.

May God the almighty Father, who filled the world with joy by giving us his only Son, bless Magnus Romulus.  May he grow to be more like Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

GRATITUDE
Fr. Rector would like to THANK Robert Ayson and her daughters for the beautification of the alcove of the image of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The project is now completed.  It is our hope that everyone who visits the Cathedral will continue to embrace the prayer written on the wall; and that we will abide the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts, ourselves in the image and likeness of Jesus.

Gratitude to the Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus, Pat Egan and members of the KofC who showed up last Wednesday evening and moved furnitures.  Surely, many hands made the workloads light.  S. Rosviminda, RVM and the Lavarias family also spent time in moving some stuff.  We are also thankful to them.

THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY OF TIME AND EFFORT.
RCIA Process at the Cathedral
It is with joy that Fr. Rector shares with you that as of now there are at least 8 individuals including a family of four who will enter the process for RCIA.  Eventually, they will be introduced at Mass.  Meanwhile, Fr. Rector ask that we pray for them as they get to know our Catholic faith.

Any parishioners who will be interested to journey with them more closely, please contact the parish office (250-564-5225) and let Fr. Rector know.

A new parish website and parish Sunday bulletin will be launched soon! Watch for it!
