IN SPECIAL REMEMBRANCE OF OUR DECEASED LOVED ONES

At every celebration of the Mass, all the faithful departed are prayed for (1) Universal Prayer/Prayer of the Faithful (2) Included within the Eucharistic Prayer.

However, this month of November we especially remember them. To assist parishioners in remembrance of our deceased loved ones a "a prayer corner" has been prepared.  Parishioners may write the name of their deceased loved ones and place them inside the prayer box in front of the sanctuary. There are pens and papers* provided in the Church foyer for you to write.  You may also light a candle by the alcove of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus or Our Lady of Fatima for your deceased loved ones.

*You may print this to fill-out with the names of your deceased loved ones: Remembering the Dead. Then, bring to Church.

Fr. Rector will read privately the names of your deceased loved ones and pray for them.

You are also welcome to offer Mass for the souls of your deceased loved ones. You may do so by either asking Fr. Rector or contacting the parish office.

COPIES OF 'NOVEMBER THE MONTH OF HOLY SOULS 30 days of prayer'
Copies of 'November THE MONTH OF HOLY SOULS 30 days of prayer' are available for FREE in the Church foyer. You may get your copy when you come to attend Mass this weekend. Those copies are from the generosity of the Catholic Cemeteries, Archdiocese of Vancouver.

REMEMBRANCE DAY - NOVEMBER 11

Canadians pause today in silence to remember those who died in war and to pray for the victims of aggression and inhumanity throughout the world.

This is a day to pray for peace, to consider what we are doing as individuals, as a community and as a nation to bring God's peace into the world.

This is a day when a believing community should rededicate itself by prayer and action to the ideals Jesus gives us in Beatitudes.
