Rogue Valley Vintners Awarded $50,000 in Travel Oregon Grant Funding

Time to celebrate!

On April 24, Travel Oregon announced that Rogue Valley Vintners' grant funding request of $50,000 had been awarded in full. We applied for this funding in February via the Oregon Wine Country Plates Matching Grants program, which draws funds from the sale of Oregon wine country license plates. The total funding for the program this year is $125,000, the lion's share of which was awarded to RVV. The remaining funds will be split between four different Oregon winery associations, including the Willamette Valley Wineries Association and the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association.

What Happens Now

The grant money awarded by Travel Oregon will be used to develop a unified and compelling Rogue Valley brand in collaboration with Holly Macfee and the Lookout team, and launch a cross-platform marketing and communications strategy that incorporates the cohesive regional brand. Our aim is to capitalize on the natural beauty and vibrant culture of the Rogue Valley to draw new tourism to our growing wine region in a way that benefits all winegrowers and wineries in the area.
