God has answered prayers in that we have not had any rain delays. Unfortunately, it also means that everything is getting dryer and fire danger is getting higher. We have watched smoke rise from a fire about 15 miles from us, just one of nine wildfires burning in Colorado. So, no 4th of July fireworks this year. But we can and will still celebrate the freedom we have.

Mari has started exchanging ideas with Christy about colors and textures, and appliances. We want the cabin to be a peaceful place for workers to reconnect with God, to be blessed by what they see and experience. How much to use wood, and where? What colors go well with each other? What color should the window casings be? How about the floor? And so on. Decisions, decisions.
The plumber came on Monday and did some of the underground plumbing. The next step is to get the foundation ready for him to lay the in-floor heating tubes, before the concrete slab is poured. Don and Rob are actually working on it today!

For a number of years, we have had groups of young people help with various projects on Shekinah Ranch property. Yesterday, we had a group from Missouri cut, split and clear away wood. Our prayer is that as they spend time at Shekinah Ranch that they, too, will catch a vision and will continue to pray.
We appreciate your interest in and prayer for Shekinah Ranch, and we always welcome any comments or questions.
