With your support, we can continue to be the community's helpers.

Dear Community Friends,
Your charitable donation today can put food on the table for scores of your neighbors who otherwise will go hungry in the face of the coronavirus crisis.
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has ordered closed all non-essential businesses throughout the State. This includes essentially all service businesses, restaurants, bars, retail stores, and offices—putting hundreds of low income, hourly wage earners immediately out of work.
SMCC will remain open as an essential service provider, having been named the “Central Hub” for food collection and distribution for the Bay Hundred area. We will perform this essential role in partnership with other local non-profits, churches, first responders, and charitable organizations. The first thing we did was spend an unbudgeted $10,000 to purchase and install a new, larger walk-in freezer.
Now, more than ever, our community needs your caring support to feed those in need. While many of us mainly suffer the inconvenience of being homebound and perhaps unable to find our favorite brands in the grocery store, others are facing a real crisis.
Please generously support this effort by making a charitable donation to the St. Michaels Community Center online at paypal.me/smccmd. Your donation will ensure food on your neighbors’ tables and ease their suffering during this critical time.
Thank you for being a part of the heart of our community,
