iSCHOOL Q&A

Journey to Permanent Residency in Canada for International Students

Representatives of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will offer an online Question and Answer (Q&A) session for U of T students to get questions answered about some pathways to Canadian permanent residency status. Because they will be answering questions, rather than doing a presentation, it is important to review the recording of their presentation (and any other general resources) before the session.

Date & Time: 12pm-1pm on Tuesday Nov 1, 2022

Presenters: Outreach Officers from IRCC

Location: Zoom

Registration Link: https://clnx.utoronto.ca/home/slevents.htm?eventId=48375

The Centre for International Experience (CIE) offers a broad range of programs and services to support international students throughout their time at UofT.  The team of International Student Immigration Advisors offer weekly Q&A sessions throughout the year on entering, studying and working in Canada in addition to individual appointments and the resources on the Immigration section of our site

NEW FILM SERIES

The School of Cities would like to invite you to the inaugural run of our Urban Film Series, titled “The Other City.” This series is a new initiative to build a greater sense of community with all our affiliates and allow casual but insightful dialogues on crucial topics. As part of the School of Cities community, we’d love to have you participate and connect with fellow academics and professionals.

The film screenings will occur monthly starting October 26th  and will be held at tri campus venues.

Our first film of the program is PUSH and will be screened on Wednesday, October 26th at 5pm in the Myhal Centre (55 St. George Steet, floor 0) at the Visualization Centre.
The film, directed by Fredrik Gertten, concerns the subject of affordable housing.
