Last Call for Denali!

Alaska's Denali National Park and Preserve is over 6 million acres, larger than the state of New Jersey or New Hampshire! Mount Denali itself rises over 20,000 feet, making it the tallest peak in North America. Mountaineers must train for years before attempting to climb it. Denali is perpetually snowcapped and its surrounding landscape is a thriving wilderness of winding rivers, boreal forest, tundra and glaciers! Countless majestic animals including caribou, horned owls, lynx, grizzly bears, and golden eagles are home here.

If you’re a lucky visitor, during the summer you can meet the only sled dogs that work at a National Park. And if visiting outside of the summer season, you might even catch the Aurora Borealis!
One animal that caught our eye as we head into spring is the snowshoe hare. As spring arrives and the days lengthen, the adorable snowshoe hare's completely white winter coat will shed and transform to a mottled brown! This helps them blend in with their environment as the seasons change. These cute hares are named for their large hind feet with stiff hairs that create a natural snowshoe perfect for the wintery climate.

American Red Robin!

Correction! Thanks to a helpful reader, we realized that we accidentally featured a bird that wasn't an American Red Robin last week! We were able to grab an actual snapshot of our daily visitor. Can you tell we love birds here?
Robin's Egg is our current favorite colorway! It's hard to capture the color just right. I think there's something incredibly soothing about the light teal-y blue. Reminiscent of the soft watercolor springtime world of Beatrix Potter. Shown above in the Springtime Robin sock kit, and below with Blush Petal.

Morro Bay & Lighthouse View

Inspired by the unique Morro Rock and bay which opens to the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Morro Rock serves as a reserve for peregrine falcons. Seals and sea otters as well as tide pools are found in this unspoiled area too! Back in stock is Morro Bay and Lighthouse View

From us...

We know it's been a stressful time. We won't belabor that here, but we're right there with you. Please know we've cancelled all of our upcoming in-person events for now, and if there's anything we can do to accommodate or address your needs, please let us know.

This week we'll leave you with this image of summer relics dotting a snow covered shore at Green Valley Lake. We've been finding ourselves drawn to long breaks sitting outside, simply gazing at the greenery and taking deep breaths in the fresh air. Nature can be powerfully grounding. No matter how busy, tense or overwhelmed you may find yourself, we hope you're finding those quiet and soothing moments that work for you each day.
