New Half Skeins!

in true worsted weight

We have just a few half skeins in a new true worsted 100% merino yarn! Yardage is plenty to make a small project like a pair of fingerless gloves! These were made as we experimented with colors this week. The colors of spring gardens and tea parties!

New Colorway

Island Scrub Jay!

This smart and stunning bird is only found on Santa Cruz Island, 20 miles off the Southern California coast. The island scrub jay diverged from the western scrub jays we commonly see here on the mainland about 150,000 years ago! They're a bit bigger too, measuring about 13 inches tall!

Garden Island of Kaua'i

White sand beaches and dramatic emerald mountains! Choose a skein for either socks or a shawl, and a discount code for one of the featured patterns! This month we teamed up with Dawn for her Lyne Socks that feel inspired by Hawaiian flowers, and Woolenberry for her Drops of Joy Shawl that remind us of seaspray and warm tropical sunsets.

Preorder by next Saturday!

From us...

We also tried dyeing a new fluffy cotton/alpaca/merino yarn this week. So dreamy and fluffy! If this piques your interest- let us know! We're still working on finding more sustainable yarn and nonsuperwash bases that excite you guys!

And as we find time, we're learning about healthy natural dyes and techniques. We soon plan to share our attempt at natural dyeing with acorns we scavenged here!

Hope you're all doing well!
