Congregational Meeting / Meeting of the Corporation
Sunday, January 20th - 10:15 am
Session has called for the
Annual Meeting of the Congregation and the
Meeting of the Corporation

Sunday, January 20th at 10:15 am in the sanctuary.

For Your Safety…
Last fall, recognizing the need to enhance our safety and security measures church-wide, the Session approved the expenditure of funds to equip our church with a new door security system and a facility camera system. Installation of these new safety and security features has been completed. As a reminder, our camera system is now live and in recording mode. Cameras have been installed in areas primarily where children and youth activities occur as well as around door accesses where our key fob readers have been installed.
Our new door access points have also been operational for some time. The main entry doors on both levels will only be unlocked on Sunday mornings and during other church-wide activities (like Reach Wednesday or special worship services). In order to maintain a safe environment for our FMO students, staff and anyone from the congregation who might be in the building, we are asking everyone to keep doors secured at all other times. The building security alarm system has also been upgraded and is now functional.
Beginning this week, the security alarm system will be automatically set (armed to activated) each night at 11:00 pm. In addition, church staff may set the alarm when they leave for the day. When the security alarm is set, your key fob is designed to disable the alarm and allow you entry into the building at prescribed times. You will not need to take any action to enable or disable the security alarm as you come and go. In the unlikely event that you accidently set the alarm off, simply use your key fob at any reader to silence the alarm.
IMPORTANT: If you have a need to be in the building after 11:00 pm, please let someone from the church staff know at least 24 hours in advance so they can take the necessary steps to have the auto-arm feature of our security system temporarily deactivated. This is not something that we can do in-house. If you have any questions about our security alarm system or would like further information, please contact Steve Marks or Jennifer Jones at the church.
