I want to thank all the parents that attended the BOD meeting this past week. I do believe we answered all of the questions that were presented in the Survey. If you still would like more clarification we will have the Meeting Notes on the website in the coming days, or you can email the BOD directly: Email BOD Today.
We are only a few days away from the beginning of our season and we are still missing some registrations from players. If you are unsure if you are registered please reach out to your respective head coach or team manager via the TeamSnap email. They have an updated registration list. I do not want any of our players in a position where they are unable to start practice this coming week.
Currently we are up to 74 players successfully registered for the season so we are awaiting a few more. I have received a few emails about issues registering. One of the common issues is the inability to upload documents properly or information not being saved on the forms. I have sent TeamSnap a note of improvement to make the documents automatically download verse open up in a web browser. Here are some tips on finishing the process, and Chrome web browser is the best option:
When the documents open in Chrome download the documents to your desktop
Fill out and save the documents
Make sure they are saved as PDFs
If you are having trouble saving the documents a screenshot of the document will suffice
Change the screenshot to a PDF and upload them to TeamSnap.
When uploading to TeamSnap
Upload a document and click done then move onto the next document.
This picture shows that the document has been accepted:
All registrations must be completed via TeamSnap as the documents and information needed to register each player with USA Hockey is within the form.
Over the past month the BOD have been working on the overall organizational structure of our program and we are finally in a position to be able to start to put together our Operations Committee.
We are in need of volunteers in the following positions:
50/50 USHL Fundraiser Leader
USHL RoughRiders Liaison Committee
Community Outreach Leader
If you are interested in being a leader of change at RRHC please contact me today by clicking on the link:
On October 13, 2018 your USHL RoughRiders take on Sioux City at the home opener. During the 1st intermission our mites will play a game against each other. During the 2nd intermission every player will be brought onto the ice and acknowledged for their dedication to this great organization. This includes all RRHC players: every travel, every instructional, and every RYHL player! Each player will receive a complimentary ticket to the game! Parent ticket packages will be discussed at the parent meetings this coming week. Please mark your calendars and save the date. More details will be announced in the coming days or at your respective parent meeting next week.
