This week has the travel teams off for the holiday, a coaches meeting Tuesday night @6:00pm at CRIA, and RYHL on Monday night. Other than that it is a slow week at RRHC. There is a reason for this slow week at RRHC, and it is around one of our guiding core values of retention. Retention of players, coaches, and volunteers alike, is a core value that is important to our growth as a club. If we burnout out a player and they do not want to come back that is one more player we have to replace. This same idea goes for all of coaches and volunteers. If we lose one coach due to not getting a break, well, that is one more coach we have start over in terms of their development as well. As we retain players, coaches, and volunteers our program will continue to grow and experience success long term. Also, it is important, to the best of our ability, to have a family and sport balance. This is why breaks like this week during the holiday is important, and that is why it is a slow week of hockey for our association.
