Public Safety Secretary Héctor Pesquera acknowledged on Thursday that the number of fatalities in Puerto Rico resulting from Hurricane Maria
could move closer to the number
published in a Harvard University study earlier this week, which estimated that some 4,645 people died during the catastrophic storm and its aftermath.
