November Topic: The Power of Email Marketing!

In this presentation, I share why email marketing is so powerful when implemented as one piece of your overall marketing strategy. I talk about how to attract the right people through an irresistible lead magnet and then how to convert those people into paying customers through research, a compelling email funnel, and tracking metrics.

Restauranteers SIG

December's get-together will take place on Thursday, Dec 8 at our normal time of 6:00 at The Cub Room, 739 Clinton Ave, Rochester, 585-504-2790. There is parking after 5 pm in the lots to the left and right of the building, as well as street parking. Thursday at The Cub Room is Paella Thursday (must stop drooling)!!! For those not familiar, paella, generally considered Spain's national dish, is "a savory Valencian dish made of rice, cooked on a frying pan with vegetables and meat or shellfish" and, um, hello, has saffron! Their website states they have seafood, chicken, and vegetarian versions available, as well as their regular menu. As usual, attendance is limited to nine (no way I'm missing this!). Community Service SIG

We volunteered with Flower City Pickers, sorting produce donated by vendors of the Public Market, to distribute to community organizations.

December meeting will be on December 19th, at a location TBD. Interested RWN members should contact jean@blasdell.net.

National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House Monday Lecture Series

Mark your calendars for the last Monday Lecture of 2022 with Nada Odeh! Nada is a Syrian artist, activist, humanitarian, and modern-day poet. Born and raised in Damascus, she came to the United States in 2013 due to the revolution in her country and went on to develop a prestigious art career that is now recognized in multiple countries.

Nada's art and activism help many organizations and artists live the ultimate art experience. This December 12th, she will be speaking to us in person on "Diversity, Inclusion, and Art." To see Nada in person or via zoom, make your reservation below!

Open Access 
Alcoholism and other substance-use disorders continue to hurt individuals and families in our community every day. When you or a loved one is ready to seek treatment, call or go to Open Access at 1350 University Avenue, Rochester (585-627-1777). Open Access is staffed 24/7 and welcomes all ages. There will be an evaluation and a connection to an appropriate level of care. Families seeking guidance can call a Recovery Support Navigator at 855-778-1200.
