Committee / SIG Updates

The Sales & Marketing SIG will be taking a break over the summer. We’ll be working on ways to improve the SIG and better fit members’ needs. We plan on returning in the fall, hopefully in-person. Rochester Women Network Young Professionals Special Interest Group is looking for new members as we re-launch!

Young Professionals SIG seeks to bring together ambitious, grow-oriented individuals to develop professionally and expand our networks. Members who are looking for group events that encourage building relationships, having a positive impact on their community, and staying active should attend our monthly gatherings. Our events will include an element of self-development, followed by a social event.

We want to build the SIG meeting times and events based on the members that are looking to join. If you are interested in becoming a member of this SIG, come to our brainstorming session:

Join Walk With Willow Co-Chairs Joe and Kesha Carter to take steps to end domestic violence on Sunday, October 24 at 9 am!

The in-person walk will start at the Blue Cross Arena and end at the Stories of Strength mural on the Times Square Building, downtown. This 1.3-mile fun walk is meant for the whole family! Everyone (adults, kids, and pets!) can play their part in helping us reach our goal of $50,000 for the number of 9-1-1 calls for domestic disputes in Monroe County each year.

The first 100 registrants receive a FREE Walk With Willow t-shirt!
