Attention Women Business-Owners: Don’t miss this opportunity with the University of Rochester Simon Business School!
The University of Rochester Simon Business School student-led Simon Vision Consulting is currently sourcing projects for the fall and spring terms. Your business could benefit from engagement with a team of five smart Simon students who would analyze and recommend actions for your business. This opportunity to apply is open now!
What is Simon Vision Consulting?
Simon Vision Consulting is a consulting service that is offered to community companies that have a strategic issue/opportunity they would like analyzed with a recommended course of action created by a diverse group of smart MBA and MS students.
There is no charge for this service, and the engagement will be run just like a consulting engagement with a large consulting firm with milestones, deliverables, and presentation of results. These teams are advised by second-year MBA Managing Directors, and teams pair with volunteer consultants from the Rochester Professional Consulting Network as an additional resource. Clients have been extremely happy with the results (9.3/10) and the insights provided by the students, and all have said they would do it again.
This year, the group is expanding their outreach with more intention around engaging more Women-Owned businesses in Rochester.

These engagements would run from late September to late November/early December, and from late January to April. They are currently sourcing projects for a September start but are always open to introductions for future project engagements in January.
Our Explore RWN event is now called Explore & More – we have shortened the formal presentation and added a networking component where we SHOW, not just TELL, prospective members what RWN has to offer. After a brief overview of the organization, Explore & More attendees will join our Monthly Free to Members Networking, which is now called Meet & Mingle! Along with the usual networking with members, welcoming prospective members helps all of us widen our networks, share RWN experiences, and learn more about SIGs that may be of interest.
Rochester Women's Network has a Facebook Group just for members! If you aren't a member yet, go here to join.
We have added new email addresses to help members and others reach us more directly, including finance@rwn.org, fundraising@rwn.org, membership@rwn.org, and programs@rwn.org. These emails, in addition to our general rwn@rwn.org, are checked frequently by committee members, so feel free to reach out should you need anything.
