A 12-week CrossFit program by Árni Freyr Bjarnason, Thuri Helgadottir’s CrossFit and Weightlifting coach. Arni was Thuri’s coach in the last years when she qualified for the CrossFit Games, including 2019, the year she was the 9th fittest woman on earth.
The goal of this program is simple: to increase work capacity across broad time and modal domains. It includes plenty of weightlifting and strength work as well as gymnastics and a variety of metcons and aerobic conditioning to build the engine.

GYMNASTICS

A 12-week program by the WODProof team Athlete Thuri Helgadottir 2019 9th Fittest Woman On Earth.

Thuri’s gymnastics background helps her to crush every tough event with gymnastics movement, as we all remember from her 2016 Regionals Nate event world record.

Thuri created this program as a 3-time a week ADD-ON to your current program.

Thuri Helgadottir: 
 "This 12 week gymnastic program consists of strength exercises and technique drills and skills to get better at the gymnastic exercises that we have in CrossFit. Strength is the foundation to be good at the exercises and being able to rep them out in a workout safely. We start with basic strength; pressing, pulling and core. The first two weeks consist of the basic foundation and then we will progress into more complex drills and strength will get more specific for the Handstand Push Ups, Kipping pull ups and butterflies, Muscle ups and Toes To Bar״

HIIT - LEAN MUSCLE

Created and programmed by Omer Svilem, 32 years old coach with a huge experience as an athlete, coach, and CrossFit competitor.

Omer used his huge experience with athletes from all levels, to program a 12-week cycle that anyone can do!

From high intensity and challenging movements for the most experienced athletes, to an easier version that any beginner athlete can do, while getting the same great feeling at the end of the workout.

This program can be done perfectly with one dumbbell and a jumping rope or at home with a tailor-made bodyweight version.

ROWING EXPERT

By Anna Muhle: "Rowing is an essential part of Crossfit, most of the time it will bring up the heart rate and make you suffer. 

But wouldn’t it be nice to see the rowing as your “active recovery” during your workout?

That’s easy to achieve if you spend a little time on good technique and to get to know your pacing. 

This 12-week plan is tailor-made for CrossFiters, as an 3 times a week ADD-ON to your current CrossFit program, and not instead.

It suits the goal and doesn’t require sitting on the rower the whole day long. The maximum working time excluding rest times for these workouts is 30 Minutesץ"

STRENGTHLIFTING

The Strength-lifting program was built by Oren Shai, an experienced weightlifter, and a weightlifting federation member. Oren worked with Olympic games qualified athletes, and CrossFit athletes with a lack of weightlifting technique.
Oren learned what are the weaknesses that are common among most of the CrossFiters and he created a winning formula to allow CrossFiters to add extra sessions 2-3 times a week, that includes strength, pull and lifting work while the athlete keeps doing metcons and skills work in the majority of the week. 

The goal of this 12-week ADD-ON program is to improve strength and build confidence with the barbell (especially in overhead position), so you could control the barbell way better when the heart rate is high during a WOD, online qualifier, or your next competition.

We will offer 2 - 3 weekly sessions in addition to your existing Program.

NUTRITION
By Zoe Vincent, a qualified nutrition consultant, coach, creator and owner of Fika Nutrition.
 In the upcoming 12 weeks, you will learn from Zoe how to set a realistic, but specific goals, we will look into your food diary, and dive into the importance of proteins, carbs, and even how to build the best shopping list. In week 7 we will have a full example day and then talk about sleep, water, and more.
