As an interdisciplinary design practice we have had both the privilege and also carry the responsibility of being a design provocateurs and a movement for social change, through the design of quality urban spaces over the last 21 years. With the bulk of our work having been within South Africa, we have come to understand the impact that well planned, designed and built-up spaces can bring about in people’s life’s, in the pursuit of transformation within our African cities. The diversity of our team has enabled us to deliver on projects that begin to display the fast emerging contemporary African identity within our cities.

The combination of projects such as Cornubia Housing and KZN Aerotropolis within the north of Durban, speak of the great steps South Africa has made in redressing the ills of our past. Point Waterfront Development and the Moses Mabhida Stadium Precinct, reflect the ability of our country and cities to compete on the global stage. Peoples Park in Durban, Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg  and the Pietermaritzburg Urban Renewal Project (PURP), reflect the intrinsic role of public space as the stage upon which our proudly African urban lives are lived out. While this may appear a great achievement and progress in transforming our cities, one of our greatest achievements is the diversity in our team which enables us to bring about real transformation!
