This week: Another day another dollar.

Untitled -- Acrylic on Panel 18x24
older piece not sure what year
Good morning from Pine Tree Central, where it's foggy and cool, and I've had two Friday nights in a row where I actually slept. I like that my
oncologist has done away with the dexamethasone.
Here's some stuff I thought was worth sharing this week.
  1. Untitled is actually a title, but what's the story behind titles anyways?
  2. For those of you who like this sort of stuff (like me) Bauhaus is putting out The Bela Session which is the full 1979 session where they recorded Bela Lugosi is Dead. You can preorder at the link, it's out in November -- vinyl or digital download.
  3. If you don't get Kieron Gillen's newsletter but are a comics fan, you should. Here's a recent one that has some good stuff on writing
  4. Hasselback potatoes look amazing!
  5. A while back someone suggested that publicly funded libraries should be closed because they "weren't needed". Which lead to a big outcry (mostly by librarians), but started me researching volunteer libraries. (I like libraries and use mine.) Here's one article I found on that.
  6. Austin Kleon posted an article this week about Paper Monuments to Human Effort. Part of mine is pictured below.
Sketchbooks. Some go as far back as 1977. There's more somewhere, but these are the bulk of them, plus I sketch on scraps of paper, etc..
Foggy mornings here this week, but things, eventually, clear up. Just like life. Get clear folks.
