Wile E. Coyote Trompe L'oeil painter.
Hey there folks,

Here's some stuff I thought was worth sharing this week.
  1. I'm not a real big fan of werewolf fiction, but I'm reading Mongrels by Stephen Graham Jones. It's a modern werewolf/"urban" fantasy novel. I put urban in quotes because it seems to be of the genre, but is not really urban per-se. Maybe southern gothic. 😁  Great book, great author.
  2. Werewolves are about transformation, (almost said change but then thought of this) or Metamorphosis (Kafka's novel).
  3. I actually got the book at my local library.
  4. Libraries are wonderful things. “Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries.” -- Anne Herbert. (I believe that first appeared in Co-evolutionary Quarterly)
  5. Also reading Giving Birth to Thunder, Sleeping with his Daughter (yes still) by Barry Lopez. Which is a book of Native American Coyote stories.
  6. Wile E. Coyote, is the modern incarnation of the native American Trickster, he's a genius, but he gets himself in trouble all the time.
  7. and he's a heck of a painter.
Werewolf  ~2012
Wolves at your door? Coyote steal your leg? All the king's men can't put you together again (Yep different paradigm)? Being broken isn't the end, I've found that out in the last 9 months. You all have had some of it in the past 20 months. Take care of yourself, even if you have helpers. You're the only ones who really know what's going on in there.
