Betty White, someone who felt like a good friend to us all and who worked tirelessly on behalf of animals, passed away on New Year's Eve. Her 100th birthday would have been today, January 17, 2022. In honor of this huge milestone she just barely missed, we are asking you to donate $5.00 in her name to your local animal rescue. We here at Salem Friends of Felines will miss one of the greatest advocates in animal welfare. Betty was a tireless crusader for all animals. She knew the value of having a loving pet and how much joy they bring to the humans who care for them.
