Albums For Photo Booth Strips. I'll keep this short. I want a photo album that has slots the exact size of photo booth strips. You know, the old school black and white film ones. Very surprisingly, these do not exist.

Seems like you could clean up with a hipster audience. Someone should do a Kickstarter or something and give me one for free. Whadya think?
Some of the more interesting things I've watched, read, or listened to recently...
PODCAST: SLOW BURN
They say history doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme. Well, that makes this in-depth look at Watergate a dang Dr. Seuss book. (Season 2 covers the Clinton Impeachment and is equally fantastic so far)

WAPO: On The Prowl With a Trapper Who Keeps DC's Feral-Cat Population in Check
If you've ever been cat trapping, this captures it. If you've never been, come with me. It's wild.
BUZZFEED NEWS: Porn Stars Are Now Making Content Just For You — For A Price
How individual models are taking control of a reshaping sex industry worth billions of dollars.
ATTN: The Surprisingly Racist History Behind Tipping
In 17 states, the tipped worker minimum wage is only $2.13!? Holy shit.
I'm totally jealous of the subtle brilliance in this comedic short by Graham Parks. It's such a simple premise with a patient set up and great following the logic of 'if this is true what else is true.'
Craig shouldn't smoke weed.
I asked friends for their 5x5 recommendations and got so many great suggestions. Here are 5 ways you can spend $5(ish) to make a difference. If you've got other recommendations, please let me know!
  1. Tell the Bell City Council to save a neighborhood farm from a giant chemical company called Cemex. (Thanks to Casey T. for spreading the word!)
  2. Donate to the Charlottesville Community Resilience Fund and help people still in treatment for injuries and trauma. (Thanks to Gwen B. for the tip!)
  3. Make a recurring donation to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and defend civil liberties in the digital world. (Thanks to Jen K. & Dan M. for reminding me!)
  4. Join the Surfrider Foundation in protecting our oceans and beaches. (Thanks Scott R!)
  5. Help the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention save lives and destigmatize mental health. (Thanks Korey H!)
There are a ton of free creative resources online – this new segment highlights some of the best.
This Visions Of The Future poster series from NASA has been online for a few years but remains one of my favorites. The collection of 15 high-res images are free for public use, which makes them great for decorating your home – or saving money on clearing images for your next film shoot.
You gotta get a Link Tree! You know how you can't put links in Instagram descriptions, so you have to say 'link in my bio' and then change that link every time you want to show something new? Link Tree builds a microsite with links to all of your relevant channels. It's great. There's a free version and a $6/month with increased customization.
Bloomberg.com shows us How America Uses Its Land in this well-designed infographic.
I typically don't like decks where each card looks really different... but I'll make an exception for Art & Machine, the gorgeous new set of playing cards from Art Of Play.
You know you're getting old when you start swooning over Dyson shit. The Dyson Pure Cool purifying fan looks insane. And, their website has the most compelling infographic GIFs money can buy.
DAFUQ?! This expanding circular dining table from Johnson Furniture is BLOWING MY DANG MIND! Where can I send money? I want one.
I tried out 360° time-lapse astral photography Sunday night in Joshua Tree during the Perseid Meteor Shower. Boy, does that shit take patience! It took about an hour and a half to get four seconds of video (at roughly 15 fps) – but it's still pretty cool. I'm excited to try it again with a dedicated battery rig.
Thanks for reading! I'd love to get your feedback. Favorite segment? What's working? What's not working? What do you want to see more of?
