A LESSON ON COMMITMENT
Quote for the week:
"Nothing could be more perverse than to stand idle believing change is just going to come."
As we look beyond COVID, we are ushering in a new dawn of humanity. Our success as a society, as we determine to bring about radical transformation, will come at a price. Many of us have been through such courses. We know that passive participation does not produce this level of change. If we don't soon find a way to hang together, we can only hang separately. A breakfast of bacon and eggs holds a lesson from which we all could learn. The chicken that laid the eggs was involved, but the pig was committed. Nothing could be more perverse than to stand idle believing change is just going to come. We should position ourselves to rise like the phoenix because a new day has already come. When we become committed, that is the moment we become unstoppable. Some gave it all so that we could see this day. What will be your contribution to all that they have given? They were committed to being the bacon on your plate.
