NEWS
Apple's HomePod is not selling. Part of it relies on the fact that the HomePod is limited to playing Apple Music or controlling smart home appliances and is largely tied to the iPhone. Apple had a chance to create a new iteration of smart home devices, but is instead playing catch-up to Alexa and Google Home.

Stash is getting into Banking. The FinTech startup is partnering with Green Dot Bank to provide simpler mobile tools for banking and investing targeted towards millennials. It will be interesting to see how it deals with competition from Venmo, Stash, and Amazon who are all moving into the space.

Apple is stopping support of 32-bit applications.

China's intelligent highway is going to help smart cars charge themselves through solar panels underneath transparent concrete. The Chinese government is welcoming the new wave of self-driving cars with open arms.

Through the Cambridge Analytica scandal, it is clear exactly how much data Facebook has on us: a lot more that we think.

China is using facial recognition software to help get rid of it's jaywalking problem.
