MACROKIOSK Turns 18
Each year, the month of July marks the anniversary of MACROKIOSK. As we turn 18 this month, we would like to wish the members of this big family Happy MACROKIOSK Day!
 
Since MACROKIOSK was founded in 2000, we have evolved from a mobile technology enabler to a digital technology enabler. While mobility will remain a strong focus of MACROKIOSK, we hope to grow the digital economy with our continuous commitment to better serve our clients with our host of products and services.
 
Over the years, we have also achieved various milestones. Among them are the expansion of human capital across the 13 countries in which we have presence in, the acquisition of new clientele in diverse industries, as well as the employment of new digital technology in our products.
 
To commemorate this significant month, we have dedicated the first Monday of July each year as a day for celebrating not just the company’s milestone, but also the hard work, dedication and all the great things that this big family has done for MACROKIOSK. We also thank all our loyal clients and business partners who have made this achievement possible.

Co-founder CS Goh speaks about the merger and acquisition (M&A) endeavours at MACROKIOSK.
 
1) Why do you think M&A is important to MACROKIOSK?
M&A fuels MACROKIOSK’s organic growth, as we strive to exceed 25% growth year-over-year. Given the synergistic nature of our target acquisition companies, M&A will broaden and provide more depth to our existing products and services, whether in terms of technologies, market reach or simply, data.
 
2) How does MACROKIOSK identify the right partners for acquisition?
We are predominantly focused in acquiring companies with an upwards trajectory of revenue records, and products and services which are synergistic to MACROKIOSK as a whole. We have been in operations for more than 18 years, and we believe the time is ripe for some form of consolidation amongst the top players in each country. We are also looking into investing in start-ups with exciting products and services in digital technology.
 
3) What’s in store for MACROKIOSK in 2018 in terms of expansion and acquisition?
We are closing an acquisition in Thailand soon, and we are on track to complete another acquisition by the end of 2018.
