Join us this Spring. As we gather for a relaxing Long Lunch with friends and take the time to focus on ourselves for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. The theme this year is to Live Every Moment!
Laugh - Relax - Nourish your body and soul

Living every moment is our motto at Hospice Tairawhiti and we achieve this by delivering a holistic approaching to our care. This year we offer the same level of care to our supporters as we hear from Local Holistic Health Expert Katie Jane Wellness @katiejanewellnessnz.

You will also get the first chance to buy the very best of the Hospice Tairawhiti Spring Fashion Line, in our annual Spring Fashion Show.

We aim to educate and inspire you to enhance your health, happiness and build a positive foundation to live every moment all the while raising vital funds to help those in Tairawhiti living with a life-limiting illness.

Tickets include bubbles on arrival and three courses spread out over the entertainment of our speaker and our Spring Fashion Show.

This month is World Alzheimers Month and World Alzheimers Day is up and coming to celebrate I thought I would share the video TCV made earlier this year of Alzheimers Gisborne Tairawhiti and what they do in our community.

"World Alzheimer's Month is the international campaign by Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) every September to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds dementia. World Alzheimer's Month was launched in 2012. World Alzheimer's Day is on 21 September each year.

2 out of every 3 people globally believe there is little or no understanding of dementia in their countries. The impact of World Alzheimer's Month is growing, but the stigmatisation and misinformation that surrounds dementia remains a global problem that requires global action.

2020 campaign materials can be downloaded here."
