TCV Weekly News: 3rd September 2020
Kia ora koutou

Morning All!
Another week has flown by and it's starting to feel like summer with all the sunny days this week. I have spent 2 days this week with our Tairawhiti Local Advisory Committee for Fire and Emergency (FENZ). We spent Monday up at Hauiti Marae in Tolaga Bay. It was a stunning day for the drive.

Another busy week and it's cool to see heaps of other events happening from our member organisations on Facebook and also coming through my emails.

- Alzheimers Tairawhiti/Gisborne will be selling "spud in a bucket" at this weekends Farmers Market
-Gisborne Volunteer Centre is continuing their great mask workshops
- The  new Building for Hospice Tairawhiti continues
and - Citizens Advice Bureau have an upcoming workshop.

Would be nice to see our Alert levels go down though!

A note following the presentation at our last meeting:

Easy Read information is now available about the two upcoming referendums:

The Cannabis Legalisation and Control Referendum -

And the End of Life Choice Referendum -

Other accessible formats - audio, braille, dyslexic-friendly, large print, HTML and New Zealand Sign Language - are also available:
We are yet to confirm whether our 14th September network meeting will be at the GDC Chambers or by Zoom.
Confirmation in next weeks newsletter.

Have a great week, Stay Safe and well!
