Hey you!

We’ve made it. 2019 is nearly over. Finally.

This wasn’t a particularly easy year so I’m just glad we reached December in one piece.

When I was thinking about which book I’d choose to close off the year, “Fleabag” instantly came to mind. Even though I’ve been a fan of the show since it premiered on BBC in 2016, I only read the original play script this year, after watching the second series and falling in love with the Hot Priest (as every breathing human who watched it did). I was also very lucky to watch the play during its West End run in August and it was one of the highlights of my year.

This is a very easy read. You can read the entire play in about one hour or less. It’s hilarious and sad. Pervy and sentimental. Heavy and light. If you have already watched the show it will complement the experience, giving you some extra and valuable time with this absolutely amazing character created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

If you haven’t seen the show yet, what are you waiting for?

a spectacularly sad ending

My first book, “a spectacularly sad ending”, is a collection of poetry and prose about heartbreak, loss and survival. It chronicles experiences of love, loss, abuse and grief, and is for anyone who is or ever had to mend a broken heart. It's available as a paperback and also on Kindle.
