Parents/ Guardians, learners and friends…

And here we are! In the home stretch of the academic school year.  I hope that you are all well and safe and that all our children are making the most of this time to study and prepare properly for the exams.
On behalf of the CHOC Foundation I want to thank all our parents who are in the process of collecting silver in the little CHOC houses/money boxes. Again I was pleasantly surprised by the level of support coming from our REPS family for those who are more needy than us. I am so proud to be associated with a “family” like this.
We are again supplying you with the two Assessment Planners.

The screening teams at both entrances to the school have reported that more cases of late arrivals are noticed. These teams are made up of people who have other duties awaiting them after 08:00 and they cannot afford to waste time at the gates – especially not for regular offenders. Please try your utmost to be punctual in the mornings and afternoons. Punctuality is a good characteristic to teach our children.

This was addressed at an earlier stage. If you want to send eats to the school on your child’s birthday, all these items must be individually wrapped. Please do NOT send an entire cake cut up in slices!

Please arrange a telephonic meeting with your child’s teacher should you need to. It is not the right thing to do to speak to the teachers while they are on duty in the afternoons. They are there to watch the children and their attention should not be focused on any other things.

Firstly, a warm and sincere thank you to all those who have supported this project thus far. Your contributions and support is appreciated. We still have a few tickets available and urge parents and the community to purchase tickets in order to make this project a success.
Tickets are R50.00 each and you stand a chance to win a hamper to the value of either R3000.00 or R2000.00! The winner of each hamper can decide which shop (one shop only per winner) they would like to purchase from!
So to avoid disappointment, please purchase your tickets from the school as soon as possible!
Closing date for all monies is Thursday, 10 December 2020 and the draw will take place on Friday, 11 December 2020.....

Please note that Declaration Forms will be sent home with your child as from today, The forms must be fully completed (in black ink).
