Latest VIDEOS on Instagram and YouTube pages!

While visiting Beaune, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Soulac, and Ile de Ré, I recorded short videos, most notably with winemaker Vincent Lignac of Chateau Guadet in Saint Emilion, who explains the trouble with downy mildew this year but good hopes for a successful harvest this fall; and with salt harvester (saunierThomas Citeaux of Ile de Ré, who explains how he pulls the coarse salt (gros sel) with a special rake from the clay salt beds and sculpts the salt into neat pyramids at sunset every two days. Both gentlemen are featured in The Bordeaux Kitchen book!

I have also posted the videos to The Bordeaux Kitchen Facebook Page.
