Sister Schools - Rummel Creek and Sherwood Elementary

Rummel Creek is excited to have Sherwood as our sister school again this year!

The Sister School Program is a district wide program where privileged schools are paired with schools who have more limited resources.

Sherwood is located just north of the freeway less than 3 miles from our school.
Blessings in a Backpack and Family Point Resources both service the students there.

We have a few events planned and more to come including a teacher appreciation luncheon, coat drive and helping with their literacy library.

If you are interested in being part of the committee and learning more about how you can be involved, please sign up on the Sign Up Genius below.

Volunteer Help Needed

Rummel Creek has so many amazing events for our kids but we can not make them happen with out your help.  We have all the info you need to get started but we just need you to be willing to step up and help!

  1. Science Fair – Our amazing chair for this event is in her last year at RCE.  We are looking for someone that would be willing to “shadow” her this year in order to learn the ropes and take over for her next year.
  2. Red Ribbon Week - The entire week is dedicated to awareness of a drug – free nation.  Last year the theme was that we “socked it to drugs”.  You would help coordinate the daily activities during this week.
Please contact Jenn Terveen at jterveen7@gmail.com if you have any interest in helping with any of these.
