Principal News

RCE Parents & Families
-       I am so proud of all the RCE community that worked so hard together to raise $40,000+ during the recent Fall Festival.  Thanks again to all for the work and generosity.  Our students’ learning will greatly benefit from this money.
-       With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to continue to serve as the Principal @ RCE.  This is an amazing place to work, grow and learn.  Our students are happy and eager to learn every day.  And our staff brings their enthusiasm, passion and love of learning to students every day.  I hope your Thanksgiving is filled with food & fun with family and friends.
-       Quarters for Custodians
RCE has a hard-working group of custodians that work during the day and through the evenings to keep our large school looking its best every day.  Beginning Dec. 1, we will collect quarters to go towards gift cards for each of our Custodians.  If you wish to contribute, you may send your quarters with your child or bring it by yourself.  These will be collected in a jar at the front office.  Thanks for adding to the holiday cheer for our wonderful custodians.

RCE Playgrounds CLOSED the Week of Thanksgiving

The Men's Club will be doing some additional work with big machines on the field the week of Thanksgiving. For everyone's safety they will be closing the playground for the week. Please help us in spreading the word. We will re-open them on Sunday morning after Thanksgiving.

Thanks for everyone's help with this.

Notes from the Library

Thank you for a very successful Book Fair. With the funds generated through Book Fair we will purchase books, materials for students to use and bring in authors and speakers. We have already purchased $1000.00 worth of books for the library based on the books students asked for in the Book Fair. Thank you! Thank you! Our next Book Fair is a BOGO fair where we do not make a profit - but students are able to get books for summer reading.

The next PTA meeting is Friday, November 9th. After the meeting stay in the KIVA and we'll have a session about all of the on-line resources available to you and your children 24/7. If you are unable to make the training, feel free to drop by the library and learn about the resources when you are at the school. The e-books provide for reading at any time! We'll also share out about our Google accounts for students....there is so much more to Google than just searching.

Thank you for supporting the library and its programs. We are here to support and encourage the students at RCE.

We've started compiling pictures for the 2018-19 yearbook. There are so many fun things happening at RCE, and we need your help submitting photos! It's easy with ImageShare to upload your photos. Please label photos with names and grade of students and brief description. For questions please email:
