Join us in Pakihi Toitū o Kāpiti, an online network and resource to support businesses on a pathway to more sustainable practices.  

Have you ever wondered who to talk to about working toward environmentally friendly business practices? Or what those sustainable business practices are and what the benefits might be?
In February a group of Kāpiti Coast businesses came together to discuss the opportunities and challenges they face when doing business in a more environmentally sustainable way.

The group identified the need for support, and ideas included an online resource to assist and guide local businesses, and waste minimisation projects such as soft plastics recycling and food waste.

That's why we've created Pakihi Toitū o Kāpiti, a network for businesses on a pathway to sustainability.

Working together it is easier to make a difference to this beautiful place where we run our businesses and that we call home. Conscious business is the future, and we need to explore what we can do to show a commitment to improving sustainability on the Kāpiti Coast.

Pakihi Toitū o Kāpiti is all about connecting you with businesses locally to build a supportive and inspiring sustainability network. Many Kāpiti Coast businesses are already on a pathway to more sustainable practices and this will be a great place to learn from each other.
