If we are going to see real development in the world then our best investment is Women – Desmond Tutu
This month, Rotary marks 100 years of service in Australia and New Zealand.  What better way to celebrate than by becoming a Centenary Centurion’!
Centurion is a district program that encourages all members to give $100 or more—in local currency—to the Foundation’s Annual Fund each year.
If you’re not already a Centurion, why not become a Centenary Centurion now by advising your Club Foundation Chair of your pledge and making a $100 contribution.  And if you’re already a Centurion, just make sure to fulfill your $100 pledge soon and you’ll be a Centenary Centurion too.
This is also the perfect time to make your club a Centenary Centurion Club, with 100% of members becoming Centurions!
In our centenary year, many people in our communities face enormous challenges.  The need for Rotary has never been greater.  You can be confident that your Centurion contribution will empower a Rotarian with a great idea to deliver a high impact project that provides a better life to people in need.
The easiest way to contribute is to login to My Rotary and click Donate.
Dear Club President,
Your President- Elect will soon start their exciting journey to lead your club from 1st July.  DG Patrice and DGE Wendy would like the opportunity to attend as many Club Changeovers as possible to celebrate the year that has been and to welcome the new Rotary Year.
Once you have decided on a date for your change-over, can you please let me know so that we can organise a representative from the district to attend.
Please note – District changeover will be held on Saturday 3rd July if you could plan your changeover around this date it would be appreciated.

The 512-page hard cover book to mark the centenary of Rotary Clubs in Australia was launched by the Governor General David Hurley on 8 April, 2021.
Subsequently, one complimentary copy has been sent to all District Governors for distribution to all Club Presidents in Australia, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and Nauru.  (Postal and courier delays are outside our control.)

4 books = $17.06 ($4.27 per book)
RYDALMERE to my club address POST CODE is:

Join with Rotary as we raise awareness of our work to #EndPolio and show that #VaccinesWork.

In today’s interconnected world, an outbreak anywhere is a threat everywhere. Vaccination is one of the best tools we have to improve people’s health and well-being. Even as COVID-19 vaccination efforts take place, vaccinations for other preventable diseases, such as polio and measles, need to continue in order to protect vulnerable children.

According to the World Health Organization, immunizations save up to 3 million lives per year. Thanks to the work of Rotary and our partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, more than 19 million people who would otherwise have been paralyzed by polio can walk today.

Join with Rotary in reminding everyone that our progress in the fight to end polio is proof that vaccines work.
Download the World Immunization Week Toolkit.
Help Rotary and our partners deliver polio vaccines to vulnerable children. Your contribution will be tripled, thanks to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
