We are more than thankful that you attended our event. We are so glad you could join us in-person and virtually, to discuss and gather the latest insights about the use of monolith chromatography in the field of gene therapy, vaccines and several other applications.

Invitation to manuscript submission for publication in the journal Electrophoresis
 The speakers, including the participants of the "Young Researchers Corner '' and authors of the presented posters, have the chance to submit their manuscripts for publication in the journal Electrophoresis (recent Impact Factor 3.535). The special issue of this journal will be dedicated to monoliths and their use in the purification and processing of macromolecules and nanoparticles. The deadline for submission is November 2022.
Monolithic 96-well plates: We are making new chemistries available for purchase
One of the main advantages of using 96-well monolithic plates is their standard 96-well design that is compatible with all appropriate 96-well analytical methods.
This saves a significant amount of time, is user friendly and reduces the number of steps needed to gain knowledge about most optimal process conditions for specific sample. To enable the use of 96 well plates for optimizing seeing conditions for multiple applications, we have introduced new chemistries.

New Application Note: Fast and semi-automatic optimization of capture step for rAAV purification using CIM® SO3 96-well monolithic plate
Due to increasing demand for rAAV quantity and quality for clinical manufacturing, large volumes of upstream produced material are being purified on industrial scale. At this point, rAAV capture is a first chromatographic step to be optimized for optimal selection of the chromatographic parameters. To reduce the development time using multi-factor screening and increase comparability during downstream process development, CIM® SO3 monolithic 96-well plates were introduced to BIA Separations portfolio. Obtained results on small scale can be applied to the CIMmultus™ line, which is scalable to large industrial volumes. Read more.
